Two years ago, Mrs. Ttyymmnn struck and killed a dog the was running in the street, freaked out by the fireworks. It’s calmed down here, but earlier it sounded like a battle zone.

What do you give them? My wife tried some PCR -- hemp oil -- cookies and they seemed to have negligible effect.

She gets Trazodone via prescription from the vet. A antidepressant in people, it works as an antianxiety med in dogs. She still doesn’t like fireworks or thunderstorms, but they take the anxiety down a few notches from what would otherwise result in an afternoon storm resulting in the following day of digestive problems out both ends.
